A first generation production year model with subtle changes to the tail lights, grille, side marker lights and decals has made the 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner known to be the most beautiful Road Runner ever produced. With a 383 cu. in. 6.3L 335 HP engine or bigger these cars were made to go straight and made to go fast. Its no surprise that the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner won Motor Trends “Car of the Year” and if you want a fun car with attitude that out runs a coyote this is the type of car for you. If you ask yourself the question, how often do you get the opportunity to invest in a survivor-grade serious muscle machine? You’ll realize that the answer is not often and this is one of those rare opportunities. Many of these cars were abused, modified and significantly upgraded but not this example and now thats why you can get such an appreciated stock muscle Mopar. With the engine, interior and chassis in over 95% original stock condition this Roadrunner qualifies as survivor grade example. The all matching numbers and original 383 cu. in. 335 HP V8 E63 engine, the Heavy Duty A-727 Torque Flight 3 speed automatic transmission, the drivetrain with a 3.23:1 drive axel ratio, the Power Steering, 11″ Power Assist Drum Brakes, the Rally Suspension with Sway Bar and Heavy Duty Shock Absorbers are all in excellent working order.

The exterior is finished in a period correct Plymouth two tone paint code of (Y2) SunFire Yellow with Matte Black hood stripes complementing the V1X Full black vinyl roof and C2X trim beautifully. We absolutely love the Sun Fire two tone paint because not only does it go with the Road Runner’s attitude but its a much nicer looking color than the original Yellow Gold. To complement this Road Runner’s imposing look, thanks to its wide stance and flared fenders, are the stock performance hood and stock F70 × 14′ red stripe tires on heavy duty stamped 14″ stock rims and Plymouth Division hub caps. This Road Runner is a perfect mix of muscle car attitude and cartoon character fun.

To go along with its exterior appeal and mixed attitude is its interior with High Quality black interior trim, Bench Seats, Original Music Master AM Radio, Glove Box and Cigarette Lighter and the A01 Light package, which includes a map courtesy light, glove box light, ashtray light, trunk compartment light, heavy duty fender mount turn signals and ignition switch time delay all of which are in working order. The High quality interior, all of its working components, the excellent working 383, drivetrain, suspension, the Sun Fire color, the grin-like wide bumpers, the Road Runner Cartoon character make this example the perfect get away car from any Wiley Coyote.
